If your graduate has a way with words or finds themselves with their nose often in a book, these gifts are for them. I’m inspired by people like Tom Hanks who writes on a typewriter everyday. My son went through a typewriter phase and just the sound made me want to sit down and read. I love all things Smythson (which is why it is often in lists!) and that includes their gorgeous leather envelope to keep their writing in one spot. It may all seem old fashioned in our digital age, but special nonetheless. A hand-written note is always a good idea (especially from a wordsmith) so load them up with great stationary. If you are in SF, Soirée San Francisco has so many beautiful and fun options and they are a dream to work with. I suspect some snail mail might come your way. Another little gem of a store for inspiration for your budding author is The Trading Post at Marin Country Mart. It is a wonderful little post office full of beautiful pens, books, notebooks, and other wonderful gifts. You can purchase, wrap, and ship right there- brilliant. -Jenny
