MOTHER'S DAY
"It's not easy being a mother. If it was, fathers would do it." Dorothy, The Golden Girls
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th and we have decided to make all of our lists dedicated to the art of Breakfast in Bed. Mothers all around the world deserve more sleep, a moment of peace and heartfelt appreciation for their endless hard work. Whether she has little ones crawling all over her 24/7, big teens that want more space than her snuggles these days, or she’s an empty nester, your Mom wants to feel your love, hear your voice or read a note from you this Mother’s Day. Why not pamper her with the luxury of sipping delicious coffee, eating from a thoughtful breakfast menu, wrapped in a robe all perched atop beautiful bed linens with the most useful lap tray to display all her treats? We have all the lists to make that a reality for her plus an over the top custom gift list if you really want to spoil her. She deserves the world and a day of rest and relaxation. Cheers to all the Mamas out there!
BREAKFAST IN BED
The pièce de résistance of her Mother’s Day should be all about her LAP TRAY. We have been fond of these Kaymet lap trays for years and they continue to be our number one best seller. They are handmade in London and serve many purposes throughout ones entire family. Make her feel like the Queen she is and deliver her breakfast in bed with an assortment of surprises from the chic touches of a beautiful bud vase, a small Astier de Villatte treasure, or a stunning pair of wine glasses. A gift such as this will never disappoint - trust us. - Brooke and Jenny

ROBES, PJS and SLIPPERS
Mom’s lazy day will feel better if she is in stylish loungewear. Out with the old sleeve stained robe, worn out pjs, and worn down slippers and in with some of these gorgeous options. She will live in them. The goal is pjs that make her feel chic and gives her an excuse to basically define them as weekend clothing. A robe should be equally cozy and chic. Some scream spa day and others a getaway at a cool resort. Both options are a little mini escape in her mind. Even if most of her day is in bed, she will likely want to do the essentials- brush teeth, etc. so provide her with the coziest slippers to slide into. -Jenny

BED LINENS
I have a thing for a perfectly made bed. I like my sheets crisp, extra taut with hospital corners and TONS of pillows. I am not overly-particular about many things, but my bed is the one thing that (for better or worse) turns me into a freakish perfectionist. I recently stumbled upon a video of an actual bed making competition and could easily be a spectator or even compete. It is oddly satisfying. Anyway, I think I inherited this trait from my lovely mother and her excellent bed making skills. Which brings me to my list of favorite linens for making that glorious bed one can lounge, relax and enjoy breakfast in bed in especially on Mother’s Day. - Brooke

COFFEE CONNOISSEUR
Coffee is a gift that keeps giving - every single morning. If your mom is a coffee drinker she likely looks forward to that steaming hot mug many a morning when she could easily close her eyes and doze off to sleep. But no, she gets up to make those lunches, get those kids dressed, pulls herself together among a million other things all in an effort to make sure everyone has what they need. Perhaps she only got a few sips to herself before the morning got away from her but the point is she looks forward to that cup - every single morning. What better way to show your love than upgrading her coffee situation with anything from new beans to a new machine. - Brooke
