I am NO dermatologist or beauty expert and don’t pretend to be one. But I am a product junkie (you should see my bathroom cabinet 🫣.) Here is my list of favorites in my ever-changing skincare routine.
I cannot leave my bedroom in the morning without washing my face (with cold water.) I want to be better about my nighttime skin routine but my morning one is a ritual at this point and I can’t start my day without it. I have been using this face wash for a while now and love it. This cleanser is also in the mix. After cleansing, I sometimes use this toner but also use Eighth Day Tonic as well. Then I’ll throw on my LED mask (which I became addicted to during covid and haven’t stopped.) It’s just 3 mins and I would like to think it perks up my skin each morning and fights the dark spots. Next up, I do a serum. I have been using a few different ones but this hylaluronic serum is a tried and true and this one is my new splurge. To address new wrinkles I am interested in trying out Goop Beauty’s brand new 3x Retinol Regenerative Serum. Final step is my moisturizer. I need my skin to always feel as hydrated as possible so I tend to use the richest/heaviest creams I can find. These days, I alternate between The Rich Cream and this Super Anti Aging Cream.
I also love to throw in a peel to my routine a few times a week. This overnight peel is a great one and I also love this daily peel and this exfoliator by YSE Beauty. They range in their intensity level but make my skin feel so smooth. I also love adding a boost of hydration and these ampoules always do the trick as well as this oxygen mask.
When I want to get that sun kissed look I have tried this one or this power peel and gradual tan combo. It’s always a risk to not look streaky but it’s a risk I will take when that dead of winter pale skin sets in. If I am feeling like I need to depuff and calm my skin I like using these eye patches as well as this cryo facial set and this hydrating modeling mask.
In terms of a natural look for make up I love this for a primer, this stick for contouring and these for cheeks, eyes, lashes, lips, brightening and that glow. And before I put any of that on I sometimes use this beauty sandwich secret sauce serum for a real glow. It feels so good on your skin and smells good too. Final touch (and a tip from my 18yr old daughter) is this amazing setting spray so all that work doesn’t melt off my face after 5 mins. It really works and doesn’t feel sticky like others I have tried. Lastly, I love putting all my product goodies in some sort of case and this Anya Hindmarch keeps it all together.
