BIG NIGHT

This is my latest obsession. It's full of so many things that just make the everyday better. Your kitchen pantry is about to be a lot more fun and you'll want to invite your neighbors over more often.

We love to host a dinner party, but it is oddly much harder than it used to be now that our evenings are either spent with teens eating late dinners after practices or worrying about my teens who are out much later than my bedtime. I hope to implement the old fashioned cocktail party this year: 6-8pm, yummy drinks and snacks and then we kick everyone out. I want my living room to feel like Bemelmans for a couple of hours and then return it to the usual sweat socks and chaos. It can’t be Bemelmans without a martini and this Filthy combo will help. As more and more friends are retiring booze, this is my favorite aperitif to have on hand. Potato chips and bar nuts is all I plan to serve (better limit everyone to one martini!) and these are both SO good.
