A little bit of this, and a little bit of that
It's been a whirlwind of a month so far. These are all the little things I have been using, wearing, liking, packing, eyeing and buying.

It’s. Been. A. Doozy. My packing struggles continue, but I am proud of my organization this time (except for my shoe game). I admit I probably could have left a few pairs at home. But - I was also dealing with a ton of different weather and activities. Anyway, it’s been a big two-week trip to see high schools, colleges, visit with my lovely daughter, special time with two of my cherished high school besties (and more importantly, celebrate one of them being cancer-free!), plus a mini stint at my in-laws in Massachusetts with my husband and two sons, a day trip to Nantucket ending with a night in Boston. Phew!

I co-hosted an event at Veronica Beard in honor of Penny’s Flight right before my trip and found THE best new pair of jeans they’ve made! They are made with 7% SILK, are as soft as you can imagine, and are the perfect weight. I also scooped up this perfectly cropped navy double-breasted blazer. I will be living in it this spring and can easily throw it over shoulders and can dress it up or down. While packing, I couldn’t forget to include this very CHIC cream blazer. I was tipped off on the brand from a very chic friend who had the same one. I ended up getting it for my birthday. It’s so good, and I know I will wear it all year round.

While on the go, I have decided to forgo my Apple Watch for a little while and am testing out the OURA ring. I like that it is less of an obvious health tracker and blends in with jewelry. However, throughout my travels, I received multiple alerts asking if I was feeling “stressed,” which actually just made me stressed that my biometrics were saying I was stressed 😝.

My friend introduced me to this yogasleep machine, which quiets your mind and assures you a better night's sleep. I think it worked. Deep breaths…..speaking of sleep. These are my new favorite pajamas by La Veste. I am obsessed and want them in all the colors.

Not to mention, their toweling clothing is getting me excited for the beach this summer! And speaking of summer….I have been eyeing this jumpsuit by the brand JoSephine and have admittedly been totally influenced by them on Instagram.

As for my bags, I have loved toting around this perfectly sized Rue de Verneuil denim bag and my newfound favorite Mercules bucket tote for spring. And I think I have finally found the perfect carry-on bag (with a zipper!) to neatly house all the little things you want for the plane.

As the weather constantly changes from cool temps to rain to sun, I am always glad I have my
J.Crew trench coat. It is a good price point and nice quality for such a timeless style. It elevates any outfit. I am also finding sweet pleasure in my kids puffy initial necklace by Roxanne Assoulin. I have been layering it with other necklaces and when traveling, and it makes me feel close to them (I know they will say that sounds sooooo dorky, but it’s the truth, kids!) The necklace is also a perfect Mother's Day gift, as is this one from Haverhill with the same idea but in your kid's birthstones.

For some TV binging, I have been getting into these two new ones from Apple TV+: Your Friends and Neighbors and The Studio. Both are very good. I stumbled upon these lounge pants the other day, and I must say, they feel like air. They are super comfortable and perfect for TV lounging or travel.

While staying at the Mayflower Inn, we treated ourselves to some spectacular spa treatments, and I left upping my skincare regimen with three new products from Biologique Recherche. An exfoliating toner, collagen serum, and anti-aging face cream. I am a sucker for skincare products, but these have exceeded my expectations!
A few of my other go-to’s for keeping my skin, eyes, and hair looking “fresh” when I’m dead tired are…wide awake brightening eye cream, brightening eye pencil, bronzer, a travel size of my favorite skin glow primer, dry shampoo, and this round brush that brings back a blowout.

The last night of my trip was spent with my husband and boys at The Newbury in Boston. We had the most delicious dinner at their rooftop restaurant, Contessa. The meal did not disappoint. Highlights included the whipped ricotta, Italian chopped salad, fettuccine bolognese, and the salmon alla portofino. Chef’s kiss!
